A Beautiful Indoor Maternity Session | Charlotte, NC | Charlotte Maternity Photographer
Sam & Brittany were expecting their first child together, a baby girl. I was referred to them by a friend of theirs who was a previous client of mine, and I was honored to be able to photograph Sam and Brittany during this special time.
The maternity photo session was scheduled in early December, as baby girl’s arrival was expected in early February. Now here’s the thing—the winter weather in North Carolina can be fickle. One week, it can be 70 degrees, and literally, the next week, it can be 40 degrees. However, we were optimistic, and had planned an outdoor maternity session at a local Charlotte park. And in true North Carolina fashion, after a week of beautiful, mild weather, it began snowing the day of our session.
Rather than reschedule the session date, we decided to move the session to an indoor location in uptown Charlotte…and I’m so glad we did.
Sam and Brittany were stunning in their attire. Purple is Brittany’s favorite color, and the color she chose for her maternity gown. It was absolutely beautiful.
Not only were we able to capture a variety of gorgeous photos indoors, but we also managed to step outside for a few minutes to take advantage of some of the Christmas decorations outside the building. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session.
It was an honor capturing this special time for these two to cherish long into the future. If you’re looking to capture some beautiful maternity photos in Charlotte, I would love to speak with you. Contact me today.
