Whenever I have the opportunity to photograph a repeat client, I get excited for many reasons. I recently had the opportunity to photograph Samantha (this is our third session together) for her “Cinco de Mayo” themed birthday celebration. For this session, everything felt as if it was in perfect alignment: Samantha, the perfect locations, and beautiful weather! It couldn’t get any better than that!

Turning 16 is so awesome (from what I can remember...ha) and Zahria had an entire weekend planned out with friends to celebrate the occasion. This photo shoot was the kickoff of a memorable weekend for her.

We started out the session at my home studio, then we headed to uptown Charlotte, where we continued the session in natural light and against the natural beauty of Charlotte. Here are a few of my favorite images from this Sweet 16 photo session in Charlotte, NC.
